This model is extra coarse, which corresponds to grit 220 on ceramic whetstones

Den 8 x  The 3 inch diamond whetstone is versatile and easy to use. Plenty of space to sharpen tuning irons, planer blades, knives and much more. The large surface also makes it easy to use a sanding guide.

The whetstone has rubber feet so that it stands firmly when sharpening your tool.

The diamond plate does not, like the ceramic whetstones, leave marks on the surface after use.

Many underestimate the importance of the sharpening tool, which is a big mistake, as it is important to be able to "set up" your irons properly.
