Supplement to the splitting axe

The splitting wedge is a good supplement to the splitting axe, which makes it easier to split extra thick wood.

Use the hardened striking face of the hatchet or a hardened steel pick when working with your splitting wedge.

Is not hardened and can therefore be used with hardened impact tools.
